Located in Beaver Dams, NY, I am a small scale flower farmer, specializing in dahlias. The farm is operated solely by me, from planting and harvesting, to digging and storing. I verify every dahlia bloom before tagging it to ensure variety accuracy. I use strict sanitation practices and sanitize snips and scissors between every single dahlia plant when harvesting flowers and dividing tubers. I frequently inspect plants for sign of virus or bacterial disease and toss any plants with symptoms right into the trash.
